Our Story
Built for Colorado landowners
Outdoor Legacy was born out of a deep passion for Colorado's outdoor landscape, and out of watching too many property owners deal with providers who promised big and delivered little. Ed Libonati already had decades of hands-on experience in irrigation, landscaping, and yard care. Property clearing was the natural next step.
The idea was simple: build a company that treats every property like it is his own. Over 25+ years, building on more than 35 years of combined expertise, Outdoor Legacy has grown from a one-man operation into a company with a trusted team that shares the same work ethic. Today the focus is forestry mulching and the services that surround it, for homeowners, HOAs, and businesses across the Eastern Slope.

How we work
Integrity
We tell you what the property needs and what it does not. If mulching is the wrong tool for your project, or your acreage is better served by somebody else, you will hear that from us before you spend anything.
Detailed scope
Vague quotes are how land-clearing jobs go sideways. We walk the property, mark what comes out and what stays, and put the scope in writing so there is no argument later about what 'cleared' meant.
Quality in the details
Anyone can drop brush. Finish is what separates the work: chip depth, clean edges, the trees you asked us to save still standing and undamaged, and ground you can walk the day we leave.
Why we price per acre and hold a one-acre minimum
Forestry mulching is machine work. The cost of putting a tracked mulcher and an operator on your property is roughly the same whether we clear a quarter acre or two, which is why per-acre pricing is the honest way to quote it and why we hold a one-acre minimum on most projects. Below an acre, the mobilization eats the job, and you would be paying for our drive time instead of your land.
It also keeps us from overpromising. A small backyard with a few volunteer trees is real work, but it is usually work for a tree service or a landscaper, not a forestry mulcher. We would rather point you to the right trade than take a job our machine is wrong for.
